The terms that govern your use of QRfox.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and 465 Media ("465 Media," "we," "us," or "our"), the company behind QRfox (qrfox.io and the qrfox.co short-link domain, together the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including team members you invite.
QRfox lets you create QR codes that route through a short link (on the qrfox.co domain) to a destination you choose — a URL, text, contact card, and other supported types. Depending on your plan, you can edit a code's destination after it's printed, style its design, organize codes into folders, save reusable design templates, view scan analytics, and share access with a team.
QRfox is offered on a free tier and paid tiers with higher limits, billed through Stripe on a recurring subscription basis. Some accounts are activated instead through a one-time AppSumo license purchase, subject to AppSumo's own marketplace terms and refund policy for that purchase. Plan limits (such as the number of codes or scans per month) are described on our pricing page and may change with notice.
You can cancel a Stripe subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.
You agree not to use QRfox to create or distribute codes that:
We maintain a blocklist of destinations known to be malicious and check codes against it both when created and every time they're scanned. We may disable, pause, or remove any QR code or account that violates these Terms, with or without notice, particularly where there's a risk to visitors' safety or security.
You keep ownership of the destinations, text, designs, and other content you submit to QRfox ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service — for example, generating the QR image, serving the redirect, and rendering your saved designs.
If Your Content includes personal information about someone else (for example, a phone number or email on a vCard-type code, or details in a contact form the code links to), you confirm you have the right to use and share that information for that purpose, and that doing so complies with applicable law.
We aim to keep QRfox and the qrfox.co redirect service available and responsive, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, outages, or issues with third-party providers we depend on may affect availability. Because printed QR codes point at a fixed short link, we recommend not relying on QRfox for time-critical or safety-critical redirects without your own contingency plan.
You may stop using QRfox and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your payment fails and isn't resolved within a reasonable period. If your account is deactivated, your QR codes stop redirecting, but your data is retained for a period in case you wish to reactivate, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any destination content linked from a QR code is accurate, safe, or lawful — that responsibility belongs to whoever created the code.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 465 Media will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you're on the free tier.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold 465 Media harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service, and may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use QRfox after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire.
